"Most"

Most people are quitters.
Most people are sheep.
Most people fear pain.
Most people fear hard work.
Most people fear the endless grind.

Learn to embrace the process.
Let go of expectation. Accept that the here and the now, now the outcome, is what is prescient, salient, and meaningful.

Fear is a powerful roadblock.
Your sense of self and its innate desire to protect itself is also a very, very powerful roadblock.

You won't die.

Once you begin to make facing a fear, your fear, whatever-the-fuck-fear-it-is.....you begin to see the world differently. You see work differently. You see approaching differently. You see interactions differently. People begin to see it in you.

I'm not entitled to anything.
I have placed myself within reach of the things which I like and adore with my hard work and time spent in study of my various pursuits.
Be it my chosen sport, my work, or approaching women/learning about relationships...I have a ton of time spent in the learning lab/on the battlefield. For all my great exploits, I've also seen the very bottom from nearly losing everything to reaching a point where considering suicide made sense because my life literally had become devoid of meaning and purpose.
I do no reside in the gray land of temerity and certainty.
You can only win what you put in the middle.

If I do well it is only because I have spent my time in the trenches...and because I know I have more trials and tribulations to come. I welcome them. My head is bloody but unbowed....doggedly pursuing the next deeply meaningful experience, I continue on hungry like the wolf because you can only be who and what you are.

Good luck and happy fucking hunting....
