Long Term Game: "Drop It"

My girl and I are semi-arguing.
She's tipsy and she's put me on the spot, semi-unknowingly, but I'm nonplussed and I know that what follows will be unpleasant.

I grab her by the chin, say "Look at me," lock eyes, and tell her "Drop it."
I don't shout or say it with anger, simply, with the clear expectation that she drop this line of discussion.

She demures to me and tosses her hair just a slight bit, then pouts a bit and nestles up next to me on the couch and calm and peace return to the group dynamic.
