Be. Act.

There's a lot of "why people in this world"

Life is short.
I plan to squeeze every fucking bit of joy and experience and passion out of the rock that is life while I'm here.

I work a job in a field in which I believe and know that I do good work.
I pursue my chosen hobby/sport with all the blood, sweat, and tears I can muster, that I have to give.
I love women and pursue them wholeheartedly when I see what I want.
I do not have to live with the results of other people's thinking.

I make less and less time for people without that sense in their lives.
Those without the ability to stop. Restart. Start again.
Those that pursue what they're supposed to pursue because it's what you're supposed to do.

"There are no rules to this thing."

You don't have to throw good money after bad.
You don't have to be committed to the long, grisly, soul crushing end.
If you are afraid to soar and likewise fail, then you deserve the no man's land of living purgatory, just as those who risk greatly deserve the potential soaring success they may just reap as they sowed.

Know this.
There will be pain.
There will be blood.
There will be heart stopping doubt.
Those closest to you in misguided concern and social programming will doubt and worrymonger the hardest.

You will die alone.
In that moment, if you go quietly and peacefully, you will still go.
You won't wish you saw more TV shows.
You won't wish you spent less time fully engrossed in your passion.
You won't be glad you stayed married for the kids or for your parents or because you were afraid of being alone.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those that must know what is on the other side and those that don't.

This post and this blog are for the Jonathan Seagulls of the world.
