Nature of the Beast 2K13

Soundtrack: Gogol Bordello
Alt. Soundtrack: Devotchka
Alt. Soundtrack: James Brown speaks the truth

Going hunting tonight.
I am unenthused with my lack of prospects.
I fully expect to meet someone soon.
I know PUA tells you to let go of your outcome dependence.
I'm not talking from the perspective of some guy who hasn't kissed a girl in a year or has anxiety talking to women.
Long ago I went through the looking glass.
Strippers, normal chicks, young chicks, older chicks, you-name-it girl/woman later....I'm here on the other side of the equation.
I accept the reality of having to slog through the grind. A million variables beyond my control and that she is not even consciously aware of may keep us from getting past a word or two.

It's grows all the more daunting when your rational mind analyzes all the potential obstacles.
But....if you know thyself and your ducks are in a row....you can short circuit the fuse.....jump to the head of the line and obliterate her resistance.
Just remember: the vast majority of guys are so uncomfortable with themselves, their desires, their job, their hobbies, their boundaries......I don't even see them as competition and neither should you.
Get blown out by a girl undeserving to get a second glance.
Get hit on by a girl hotter than most that you've approached recently.
This is the nature of the beast.
This is the nature of the struggle.

And it makes the payoff all the more valuable when it does come through in the end.
Fire held in your hand for a brief moment, untying the knot.....a moment of suspension of the tension endemic and intrinsic to the harsh reality of the dating/mating dynamic.

It's the way she pulls her hair across her shoulder.
The way she looks up at you with her hand tugging at your belt.
It's the way she bites her lip.
The feel of her neck held tight inside the grip of your fingers.

It's the raw power and potential of just that......possibility.
Fresh. Raw. Impulse. Desire.
For what else is there, my friends?

Good luck and happy hunting.
Hoist the black flag.
