I've always had an all or nothing personality. I can be bad at things (like math) and know I am bad at them. Other things, training/the gym/knowledge/information I am great at and I know it.
I picked it up from my pops, well my step-pops. He went from being a raging alcoholic to a work-aholic. I picked up his austere personality at a young age though I didn't realize it. Working long, hard, grinding hours was something I just took in as normal.
I do not even start some hobbies because I know I cannot be okay or decent at something.
Golf, a musical instrument, whatever.
I know how long it takes to even crack the baseline of being pretty damn good or much better than the decent or the average (10 years).
I think you have time in life to be good at MAYBE 2-3 things. Honestly, I think it's more like 1.
I'm not going to be a hermit and not fuck cute girls or have amazing women in my life because I live at the gym and/or work.
I make some small sacrifices because the company of a good women is good for my soul when I am not grinding it out at work or in the gym.
You don't need a lot of friends. The vast majority of people are a motherfucking waste of fucking time.
Period.
I have a handful of guys I consider close and that is it.
If they need to hang out with me every couple days to maintain a friendship, fuck them. They are dead weight and have too much free time to be living productively.
I can only tell you these things. If you are not willing to start living based on your reasoning from essential truths then reading this blog is and will remain a waste of fucking time.
This blog is not for you to live vicariously.
If you are living vicariously through this blog or stop in to be enraged or angered by my world view, stop, go masturbate somewhere else. Seriously. Do us both a favor.
1) base your decisions on evidence
2) stop basing your decisions or reactions and emotions on how you want things to be or how they "should" be. "Should" is the biggest social construct/lie/myth/falsity which exists.
3) reason from essential truths (Elon Musk)
