When I was a kid.
I made a few promises to myself:
1) I would never work in a cubicle
2) I would never stick through a shitty marriage like I watched my parents trudge through
3) I would learn to not be afraid and learn how to fight
Marriage is an institution ill-suited for some.
You wake up one day and realize this is your life.
That it will never be enough. Enough money. Enough "yes". Enough time, love, trust, stuff, shit, sex.
Happiness is an unnatural state for a woman.
Either she doesn't make enough. Or you're not around b/c you work to much. Or you're selfish for not working more to devote yourself to your hobbies.
Then you wake up. Or you don't.
Caged birds accept each other but flight is what they long for.
