As nearly always, Roosh is spot on.
Other food for thought:
Gearing up for some hunting.
It's been awhile since the girlfriend and I split.
I have no prospects.
The weather has turned cold.
I always do this.
I make things harder than necessary.
It will prove (more) difficult to find a pretty bird with the advent of the holidays and the cold(er) weather.
But all of the above are excuses.
You can only win what you pursue.
Make progress or make excuses.
The choice is yours.
I've been going out dancing which has helped. My interactions with girls have been limited to the program for awhile now as I was taking baby steps in sobriety.
But, as it is, I need an opposite sex partner for the odd night of trivia, bowling, or whatever people do instead of getting wasted and drinking and driving as they chase cheap thrills while making expensive mistakes.
Waking up next to a pretty girl is its own reward in life.
Like good sushi after a tough day at the gym, or a great cup of coffee as you begin the day and peruse the news......only better b/c you open your eyes and the aestheticism of your day begins above the alternative.
I've been busy in the gym, travelling, and working.
But then, those are excuses also. I haven't been opening or approaching minus some girls I've met while dancing.
Like with everything, I'm a believer in slow progress. I'm a believer in the "process" of things.
I crave incremental progress which feels earned and decided rather than an explosive success which I will often chalk up to chance.
At any rate, this sober game thing is difficult and I won't mince words in describing that. It will mean a shift over from night time/social drinking game simply out of necessity. I've also had to part ways with most if not realistically all of my wingmen b/c I've had to change my people, places, and things in order to stay sober.
At any rate, I'm getting started tonight and tomorrow, weather permitting
Good luck and happy hunting.
